When I heard the news of your passing, my heart broke in a million pieces. Heaven has gained a well dressed angel with a heart of gold. I'm going to miss you so much, but you're in a better place resting easy. To the family, you have my deepest sympathy and condolences. Margie was the best cousin, EVER!!!!

To the family: At times like these it's hard to put into words just what to say to comfort those loved ones. But, we know that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. And earth's loss is heavens gain. We are sad for the passing of Aunt Margie but, we know that she will never be gone for we will hold her deep in our heart. Her work here is done, she finished the race,picked up her cross & followed Jesus. Our memories of her will not be sad for she left us with good memories, her big pretty hats, stylish clothes, & those heels. R.I.P. Auntie, we love you Shelia Hardy Banton & Greg Hardy & family.

Ms. Margie was like a 2nd mother to me and my brothers. She was my friend, my shoulder and my protector.
Before I was old enough to leave the hill I felt mature because I could travel next door to see Ms. Margie. When we were little kids we would take flowers from the graveyard and give them to her.
She and my mother would have coffee every morning and kept each other company when they were snowed in.
I could go on and on but will close by saying Margie will be missed and I am so proud that you were the closest member of my alternate parent family that my husband had the opportunity to meet.
Until we meet again.
