I am heartbroken in learning about Dave's passing. He was/is a great man who made the lives of everyone around him more happy. I worked for several years with him at CDC and he was always one of my favorite people there. My thoughts go out to his family and all those who love him.

These Three Things Faith Hope and Charity and the greatest of these is Love.... I am reminded of this verse of Scripture,to encourage You to continue to look at that Gift that Your Brother so earnestly displayed.
Continue to stand together..with God at the head of you.that is where your strength is.

My deepest condolences go out to Daves family! Dave was a very good friend/co-worker. He always could make me smile even on a hard day! He always had our backs and knew just what to say to de-escalate a situation! The students and staff all loved him and we all will truly miss him! RIP Mr. Brown! We will truly miss you!

I send my condolences out to the Brown family. This is a huge loss for both the Coatesville and IU community. Dave was the true definition of a gentle giant. The way he interacted with students and staff alike will never be replicated. You could not help but smile when Dave was around. He will truly be missed by many.

Words can't express how sad I was to hear the news about Dave aka Mr.Brown. He will be truly missed by so many. He always knew what to say to cheer you up and always joked around with you in the halls. Dave was always there when we called to help and was able to brush off the craziness that occurred on a daily basis which was difficult for others. He had one of the hardest jobs in the school but made it look like a piece of cake. The children flocked to him and all the staff knew and loved him . Rest easy my friend!!!

Dave was one of my first friends at work when I started teaching. I quickly learned about him that once you became friends with Dave, he would always have your back. He had a way of making people feel safe, calm, and like they were capable of doing more than they thought they could do. He helped me to feel confident as a teacher, and I know he gave my students confidence to make good choices every day. He will be so very missed, but he leaves behind such a positive legacy for so many children and adults. We were fortunate to have known him.

Our thoughts & prayers our with Mr.Brown's family. Both my boys, Dylan & Brett, attended the CCDC & knew Mr. Brown. Dylan liked talking to Mr. Brown & was very upset to hear of his passing. Mr. Brown will truly be missed by both my boys.
