On Wednesday, December 2, 2020, William Allen Frisby, Jr, of West Chester, Pennsylvania, went home to be with the Lord. William was 91 years old.
He was born in Chester, Pennsylvania on August 30, 1929, to the late William Allen Frisby Sr. and Henrietta Marie Dorsey Frisby. He was a lifelong West Chester resident.
William was a member of Rice's Temple AUMP Church. During his membership, he served as a member of the Methodist Men’s Club and church choir. His love of people and joy of singing made him a popular member. He also greeted visitors and sang in the volunteer choir at Pocopson Home.
William began work at the Ellis School for Girls before making his way to West Chester College where he retired after many years. His years of service proved that hard work and a strong belief could overcome any obstacle.
Drawing was one of his many hobbies. He was an active member of the West Chester community known for his kind words and gracious manner. He will always be remembered as a supportive, caring and devoted friend, community member, son, brother, and uncle.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law Alfred and Kathleen Dorsey Sr; nephews, Alfred Dorsey Jr., Stephen Dorsey Sr. and Douglas Dorsey; niece, Christina Dorsey Fletcher and her husband Richard Fletcher Sr. and grand nephews and nieces; Stephen Dorsey Jr. and his wife Anya, Stacey Dorsey, Dionna Dorsey, Simone Williams, Morgan Dorsey, and Mason Williams; his great grand nephew Stephen Dorsey III, and a host of close friends.
A walk-thru viewing will be held at 10 AM -10:30 on Friday, December 11, 2020, at Wright Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 725 Merchant Street, Coatesville, PA.
Funeral services will be held strickly private with limited seating for the immediate family only. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the service can be viewed by using the link below.

Interment will be held in Rolling Green Memorial Park.
