Troy R. London

On Friday, May 5, 2023, Troy Robert London, of Coatesville, PA, passed away suddenly at his residence. Troy was 59 years old.

Born in Coatesville, Troy was the son of Betty Jane Webb and the late Henry Pooler.  Along with his mother, he was raised by the late JH Myers aka “Fox”.

Troy was a loving father, brother, and grandfather who will be deeply missed. He graduated from Coatesville Area Senior High School in 1982 and served in the US Army. He worked at Pepperidge Farm for many years. Though he was known to be quiet and reserved, he was a talented basketball player in high school and a dedicated Philadelphia Eagles fan. He enjoyed listening to jazz music and was a fan of James Brown and Kem.

He leaves cherished memories to his children: Jonte Dalton of Coatesville, Brittany Jacks of Maryland, Brandon Jacks of Coatesville, Talia Coleman of Coatesville, Donte Crews of Coatesville, and Diamond London of Coatesville; companion of 40 years, Lavinia Coleman, affectionately known as “Dust”, of Coatesville; mother, Betty Jane Webb; sisters, Lisa Shelton (Timmy Lee) of Lancaster, Missy Pooler of Bowie MD, and Shawn Lee of Downingtown; brother, Roger Stewart (Dionna Allen) of Coatesville; 13 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Rashan London; a brother, Chrissy Pooler, and a grandmother, Sis. Ford; stepfather, Vernon Webb.

Troy will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and the community. May he rest in peace.

A viewing will be held from 9-11 AM, on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Wright Funeral Service, 725 Merchant Street, Coatesville, PA, followed by reflections at 11 AM.
