Todd F. Styer

Todd Frank Styer, 58, of Coatesville, PA, passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, surrounded by his family at home.

Born in Coatesville, he was the son of Marjorie Styer and the late Eugene Kyle.

He was educated in the Coatesville area public schools. He was a 1983 graduate of Coatesville Area Senior High School.

He was a caregiver at Elite Staffing and Caring Services.

He was a very lively person. He was personable, a people person. Each day he woke up happy. He enjoyed listening to songs by Whitney Houston,  and Leandrea Johnson, “Deliver Me”. “I won’t complain” was another one of his favorites. Those who knew him would always see him walking on Lincoln Highway or when he visited Dukes Beauty Shop. Had a nickname for everyone. Most of all he loved his nieces and nephews.

Todd was very close to his family. He gave his heart to the Lord in the last years of his life.

He is survived by his mother, Marjorie Styer of Coatesville; siblings, Nannette Styer of Coatesville, Lia Styer of Coatesville; brother Eugene Hills of Coatesville, Shannon Styer of Coatesville, Brett Styer (Tia) of Coatesville, Carl Stewart of Coatesville, Vernon Toaltoan of Coatesville; God-daughter, Xavia Theresa McCollum of Coatesville; Godson, Carleton Turner of Coatesville; special aunt, Geraldine Styer; nieces and nephews: Carnell, Chimere, Shanique, Basir, Kasye, Shannon Jr., Elijah, Mekhi, Sonay, Yasir, Shakur; special cousin, Betty Taylor; special friends, Cateena Dalton, Charnette Shelton, Yvette Holmes, Fernando Williams and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

In addition to his father, Todd was preceded in death by, a Goddaughter, Anissa Jones; niece,  Basira Styer; and grandmother, Hilda Styer.

Homegoing Services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at the Tabernacle Baptist Church, 819 Coates Street Coatesville, PA. A viewing will be held at 9:00 AM until the service time.

Interment will be held at Rolling Green Memorial Park, 1008 West Chester Pike West Chester, PA.
