Steven Blake Irons, 52, of Downingtown, passed away suddenly Sunday, January 31, 2021. Born in Bryn Mawr, he was the son of Calvin Irons and the late Phyllis Wright.
Steven was the husband of Michele Rubbo Irons.
In his early years, Steven enjoyed playing football in the Paoli Bulldogs. He was a 1987 graduate of Great Valley High School. Steven was a successful owner of an appliance installation business "Mainline Appliance". Steven had a friendly personality. His smile would light up the room. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. He enjoyed playing the guitar, riding four-wheelers, and traveling to the Poconos.
In addition to his wife, Michele Irons, he is survived by his brother, Juacqin Irons of North Carolina; sister, Tracy Jackson of Texas; father, Calvin Irons; mother-in-law, Barbara Rubbo of Malvern; nephew, Chase Irons of North Carolina; niece, Jordyn Irons of North Carolina aunt Patricia Crutchfield of Berwyn and many cousins, and friends.
Steven was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Phyllis Wright, father-in-law, John Rubbo, and uncle Hamilton Wright.
A walk-thru public visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at Wright Funeral Home, 725 Merchant Street, Coatesville, PA 19320. Please note: Steven's body will not be present.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the memorial service will be held strictly privately with limited seating for the immediate family only.
