Peter Fultz Bush, 80, of Bear, Delaware, formerly of Coatesville, PA, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Seasons Hospice in Newark, DE.
Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary Elizabeth Lawrence Bush. Pete was the beloved husband of Luvenia Caleb Bush with whom he shared 58 years of marriage.
He was a United States Army veteran who served twenty years until he was honorably discharged. He was employed in the United States Postal Office for 21 years.
Pete enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to Delaware park and listening to music, especially songs sung by Dionne Warwick.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Antionette Elizabeth Flowers; one sister, Sandy H. Bush; and one brother, Kenneth L. Bush.
He leaves his wife Luvenia Bush of Bear, DE; daughters, Jae Bush (William) of Bear DE, Dana Reve Blanks (Marcus) of Coatesville; son, Conrad Anthony Bush (Catherine) of Coatesville; three sisters: Mildred B. Bruce (Aaron) of Coatesville, Evelyn “Ebby" Carey (Alfred “Peasel”) of Thorndale and Sharon Bush of Coatesville; his buddies, David Flowers of Claymont, DE, Williams Scott of Pemberton, NJ; 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services will be held 11 AM Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the Coatesville VA Medical Center, All Faiths Chapel, 1400 Blackhorse Hill Road, in Coatesville, PA.
Committal Service with full military honors will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
