On Monday, November 30, 2020, Pearl M. London, went home to be with the Lord. Ms. Pearl was 98 years old.
Born in Parkesburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late George Benjamin Crawford and Mariah May Bostick Crawford. She was the wife of the late David P. London with whom she shared 61 years of marriage until his passing in 1989.
Pearl lived at home, before residing to Pocopson home, with her granddaughter Juanita Jacks (Anthony Jacks, Sr.), her great granddaughter Aja London (Bryan Lacey, Sr.), with her three great-great-grandchildren, great granddaughter Chantal London, great grandson, Anthony Jacks, Jr. (Moriah Jacks), caretaker, Barbara Walker, her granddaughter.
She was employed at Chatham Acres as a supervisor. She also worked at Embreeville State Hospital in the Kitchen. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, listening to gospel music and dancing to the oldies with her husband. She made pocketbooks, sweaters, baby blankets and flags.
She is survived by son, William O. London (Barbara) of Thorndale; daughter, Viola London Johnson (Rev. Rodger) of Coatesville; best friend, Dorothy Harrell; 24 grandchildren; 76 great-grandchildren; 101 great-great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by sons, David London, Jr., Bev "Fat Boy" London, John London; sisters: Ella May Johnson, Jeanette Miller, Margaret London, Bertha Crawford, Myrtle Griffy, Alfreda London, Georgianna Crawford and her granddaughter, Juanita Jacks.
A walk-thru public viewing will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, on Thursday, December 10, 2020, at Hutchinson UAME Church, 825 Chestnut Street, Coatesville, PA.
The funeral will be held strictly private due to the current Pennsylvania Covid-19 pandemic restrictions. The service can be viewed by using the link below.

Interment will be at Mt. Zion Church Cemetery, Atglen, PA.
