Pauline C. Steele

Pauline Coreta Steele, 65, of Coatesville PA passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at the Brandywine Hospital, Coatesville PA.

Born in West Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late James Alfred Steele Sr. and Rebecca Lee Steele.

Pauline received her education from the West Chester Area School District. She went on to receive her GED in her late 30's.

For over 20 years, Pauline was employed at the former Gagliardi Bros. in West Chester and then she worked 10 years at the former Animas Corporation also located in West Chester.

Before her passing, she worked for Kraft School Bus as a Bus Aid for handicapped children. This was a job she enjoyed doing.

Pauline was a faithful member of Millennium Restoration Outreach Ministries of Coatesville PA.

Pauline really enjoyed her SWEETS !!! Her favorites were Bakers of Buffington Cakes, Cheetos and diet Coke. She enjoyed going to Golden Corral Buffet.  She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great grands. Most of all, Pauline enjoyed spending time with the Lord and sharing the Gospel. 

Pauline leaves to cherish her sweet and loving memories to her two sons, Anthony J. Steele, Terrance M. Steele both of Coatesville, PA; two daughters, Juanita Cockren (Leroy) and Christina Purnell both of Coatesville PA; three brothers, Jerome Steele, and Lawrence Steele both of Exton PA, Duane Steele of Spring City, PA; four sisters, Juanita Steele Wesley (Lewis) Elizabeth Steele, Liz Milbourne all of West Chester, Barbara Washington of Delaware; 7 grandchildren: Marshone Steele, Andre Steele Cockren, Michael Purnell, Jr., Sheron Purnell, Sr., Breheanna Purnell, Emily Purnell and Joshua Purnell; 6 great grandchildren: Madison, Brinae, Serenity, Serenah, Sheron Jr. and Sire.

She is also survived by special loved ones: Tina Simpson, Alicia Anderson, Tammy Young, Denise Gibbs and Shavonte Buchanan and many many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by four brothers: William, Hampton, Spencer and James Steele; and three sisters: Virginia Pate, Anna Mapp and Margret Hubbard.

A Walk-Thru viewing will be held from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Wright Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 725 Merchant Street, Coatesville, PA.

Interment will be held privately.
