Naomi McFarlin Reason, 87, of Malvern, PA, passed away Friday, February 21, 2020 at Paoli Memorial Hospital.
Born in West Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late George McFarlin Sr. and Olena C. McFarlin. She was the wife of the late Rev. Wilson I. "Jimmy" Reason, Sr.
After graduating from high school Naomi attended nursing school in Bryn Mawr. She worked at Burroughs for many years until she retired.
She enjoyed crocheting afghans, knitting blankets and traveling. Most of all, she loved going to church with her husband and spending time with friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Yvonne H. "Bonnie" Reason of Paoli; sons, Kenny Reason of Upper Darby, Wilson I. Reason, Jr. (Tawana Spriggs) of Exton; sister, Phyllis McFarlin of Exton; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son George Bogan Reason; daughter, Valarie Elaine Reason and a grandson, Marcus Reason.
Service will be held 11 AM, Thursday, February 27, 2020,at Mount Zion AME Church, 380 N. Fairfield Road, Devon, PA 19333. A viewing will be held beginning at 9 AM.
Interment will be held at Rolling Green Memorial Park, PA.
