Margaret Mary "Peggy" Dillard, 74, of Coatesville, PA, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Chester County Hospital, West Chester, PA.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, Margaret was the daughter of the late Margaret Mary (Davis) Morris and Frank Dillard. She was the wife of Larry Allen Stevens with whom she shared 47 years together.
Peggy, as she was affectionately known, loved watching country-western shows, Madea movies, and Meet the Browns. She enjoyed songs such as; "I'll Always Love My Mama" by the Intruders, and "Me & Mrs. Jones" by Billy Paul. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
Peggy loved cooking for holiday family gatherings and was a very prideful lady with a big personality. She was known for not saying goodbye but "see you later".
In addition to her husband Larry, she leaves loving memories to her two daughters, Vanessa R. Dillard, Michelle R. Dillard both of Coatesville; two bonus daughters, Tanasha Y. Morris of Coatesville, Misha Sykes of North Carolina; 11 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; siblings, Viola Butcher, Jeannette Blakely, Sharon Morris, Abram Morris (Linda), Donna Davis, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Alzenia Morris, and Constance Morris.
