Jason R. Jones, Sr.

Jason R. Jones, Sr., 37, of Coatesville, PA, departed this life all too soon on Sunday, September 13, 2020.

Born and raised in Coatesville, he was the oldest of three sons born to his beloved mother, Denise Jones, and was a 1991 graduate of Coatesville Senior High School. 

Jason was outgoing and found it easy to make friends regardless of their backgrounds or cultures.  He enjoyed riding all kinds of bikes whether bicycles or motor bikes. He loved fishing and would often bring home his catch and cook it up himself; as cooking was one of his passions. Gardening was another passion of Jason's and he eventually developed an interest in agriculture.  Anyone who knew Jason knows he liked high quality things as luxury was at the top of his list. 

He had a love for music and enjoyed listening to Louis Armstrong.  Although he at times a jokester, he was a serious person who loved to read and wanted to learn all he could.  But most of all, Jason loved his children.  They were his life and he wanted the best for them.

Jason leaves lasting and precious memories to his six sons; Jason R. Jones, Jr., Benjamin Curry Jones, Aldan Jones, Robert Jones, Jackson Jones, Lucas Jones; mother, Denise Jones; two brothers, Ian C. Jones, Sr., and fiancee Marissa Senior of Pottstown, PA, and Steven A. Jones, and Briana Rosa of Coatesville. 

He is also survived by grandmother, Sondra Jones; one aunt, Dawn Jones; three uncles, George Jones, Jr., Aaron Jones (wife Sharon), and Edward Jones; cousin, Kia Trowery, who was like a sister; a special friend, Bridgette, as well as many other relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his grandfather, George Jones, Sr., one cousin, Brittany Jones, and an uncle Keith Jones, Jr.

A walk-through visitation will be held from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM, on Saturday, October 3, 2020, at First Baptist Church of Passtown, 117 Barber Avenue, Coatesville.   

Interment will be held privately.
