Jasmin Perkins Obituary

Jasmin Yvonne Perkins, 43, of Coatesville, PA passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021, after a brief illness at Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA.

She was born at Chester County Hospital in West Chester, PA on September 21, 1977. Jasmin, the daughter of Elder Sharon Dutton Comfort and the late Willard Taylor “Skeeter” Perkins. She was affectionately known as "Jazz" by her family and friends.

She attended the Coatesville Area Public Schools graduating from CASH in 1995. She continued her education earning an Associate Degree online in Business Administration from Ashford University. She graduated with the academic achievement of "Cum Laude". Jazz was currently enrolled in an online Professional Bookkeeping program ran by Harrisburg Area Community College.

Over the years, Jazz worked at Keystone Helicopter in Coatesville, Exelon in Kennett Square, A. Duie Pyle in West Chester and prior to her passing she worked as an Office Manager for L.F. Drisco / Varian Construction in Lancaster.

Jasmin was associated with BreakOut Restoration (Nation) Ministries where Rev. Allen T. Smith is Senior Pastor along with other Assistant Pastors, including her mother.

She enjoyed reading books; fiction or non-fiction; along with scientific books. Jazz enjoyed reading the novel before seeing the movie. She kept up with current events, which enhanced her abilities as a great conversationalist. She enjoyed singing, dancing, hanging out with her family and friends, and listening to all genres of music.

Lady Jazz was a social butterfly, who left a loving and dynamic charge where ever she went. She knew when to listen with understanding and also, she knew when to reveal her Alpha Female. A beautiful, young, woman of heart & soul, loyal, encourager, LOL funny jokester with a smile that would light up the room.
