James was known for having a good work ethic and was a man of his word. He did lawn care for seniors. He would not let you leave the house empty-handed.

James was a mentor, a confidant, and a noble gentleman who touched many lives. He had a nickname for everyone. He attended Hutchinson UAME Church in Coatesville.

James loved deep-sea fishing, jigsaw puzzles, and watching westerns. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles Fan. He enjoyed music by Anthony Hamilton and LTD. Most of all, he loved his family and the Lord.
