Enrique “Ricky” Cornish, Sr.

Enrique Juan "Ricky" Cornish, Sr., 54, of Coatesville, PA passed away, surrounded by his family on Friday, October 13, 2023, at the Chester County Hospital. 

Born in Coatesville, PA  he was the son of Barbara (Cornish) Ward and Donald Ward, Sr., and he was the husband of Angela Rivera Cornish.

Ricky was a 1988 graduate of Coatesville Area High School. He was a barber who enjoyed cutting hair and enjoyed listening to music.

He is survived by his wife Angela Cornish; son, Enrique Cornish; mother, Barbara Ward; daughter, Nishera Dalton; stepson, Vincent Rivera; stepdaughter, Princess Rivera; grandson, Kae'sen Dalton; brothers, Carmen Cornish of Philadelphia and Donald Ward of Coatesville; stepbrothers, James Hamilton, Charlie Hamilton; step-sister, Carmella Hamilton; uncle, Cash Harris; aunt, Helena Harris; special friend, ET and Terry Koon all of Coatesville and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his father, Ricky was preceded in death by his grandfather, Cushman Harris.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Ricky's life at a memorial service held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Wright Funeral Service, 725 Merchant Street, Coatesville, PA. Please note: There will not be a public viewing however, friends may visit with the family between 12:30 to 1:20 pm.
