Brenna Hicks

Brenna Hicks, wife of Charles L. Hicks, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 in Pottstown, PA. 

Born on October 7, 1954, Brenna was the seventh of eight children born to the union of Catherine (Cooper) Harris and Willie Joe Harris. 

Brenna graduated from Pottstown Senior High School, where she met the love of her life, Charles Louis Hicks.  In 1973, Brenna and Charles were married and began their life as one.  God blessed this union with a loving daughter, Lanetra Hicks.

Mourning her loss are her husband, Charles Hicks; daughter, Lanetra Hicks (Cornelius Howard); four grandchildren, Kylee, Malachi, Zechariah, and Jacob; one great-grandchild, Malachi Jr; sister, Lueveina Blakey (Harry Sr, deceased); brothers, Samuel Harris Sr. (Marietta), Harvey Harris, Willie Graham Harris (Patricia); sister-in-law, Georgiana Harris (Carvey deceased) and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Brenna was preceded in death by her parents Catherine and Willie Joe Harris, stepfather James Harris; and brothers, Carvey Lee Harris, Wallace Harris (Nancy-deceased), and Sherman Harris.  

Please note that due to the current Covid-19 Pandemic, a Private Home-going service will be held at Second Baptist Church, North Adams Street, Pottstown on Wednesday, January 20, 2021.  The private service will be LIVE streamed on Zoom for those unable to be in attendance. 

A public committal service will be held immediately thereafter at Highland Memorial Park,  701 Farmington Ave, Pottstown.
