Yvonne B. Dorsey, "Bonnie", 59, of Coatesville, PA, passed away suddenly on Friday, March 25, 2022, at her residence.

Born in Coatesville, PA, she was the beloved daughter of Mable Edna Dorsey. She was the widow of Anthony Verille.

Bonnie was a bartender for many years. She enjoyed watching movies including the Five Heartbeats, and The Color Purple. She enjoyed listening to songs by Patti Label, Aretha Franklin, Anita Baker, and Denise Williams.

She was baptized at New Life In Christ Fellowship many years ago.

Bonnie was a phenomenal chef who enjoyed cooking and feeding the homeless. She would post with meals that were available and serve the people at the rooming house. She also enjoyed shopping and from store to store gathering food for her wonderful meals.  Most of all, she loved her family.

Bonnie leaves cherished memories to her daughter, Dejamarie Tapealava (Siale) of Coatesville; granddaughter, Steavimarie Black; great-grandson, Bryshann Wadley; brothers, Harold F. Dorsey (Adele) Lebanon, Robert B. Dorsey of Coatesville; sister, Dina Dorsey of Coatesville and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

In addition to her mother, Bonnie was preceded in death by a son, Steven Westmoreland; brother Willard Dorsey;  grandparents, Edward and Mable Simmons and nephew, Terrance Forte.

Bonnie will be deeply missed.

The family plans to hold a repass at the home: 318 W Lincoln Hwy, Coatesville  on Saturday, April 9, 2022 starting at 1 PM.
