William Bingham Parke Alder, 90, of West Grove, PA, passed away, Monday, August 31, 2020 at the Green Meadows Nursing Facility in Paoli, PA.

Born in London Grove, he was the youngest of 15 children of the late Ernest Alder, Sr. and Blanche Lee Alder. He was the husband of Elsie T. Woodward Alder with whom he shared 8 years of marriage.

Raised in West Grove, he attended the public schools and was drafted into the military. William served in the US Air Force until he was honorably discharged.

William enjoyed deep sea fishing and riding motorcycles.

He is survived by one son, William Bingham Parke Pennington and his wife Maggie of Ercildoun; 15 grandchildren; niece, Judy London and other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Woodward; son, William "Eddie" Alder; brothers: Marvin Alder, William Alder, Clarence Alder, Ernest Alder, Jr., Fred Alder, Jesse W. Alder; sisters: Clara Alder, Anna Alder, Mary Stevens, Ruth V. Boyden, Bessie Roane, and Blanche Daniels.

There will not be a viewing or funeral.  Burial with Military honors will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA, 17003. Join Zoom Meeting ID: 821 8433 9994 Passcode: wright
