December 4, 1955 – February 6, 2024
Wayman Anthony Fiorentino of Coatesville, PA, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. He was 68 years old.
Born in West Chester, PA, he was the son of the late Eugene Thomas Fiorentino, Sr. and Monica Louise (Shockley) Johnson.
He was a 1973 graduate of Coatesville Area Senior High School. Wayman worked for the former Lukens Steel company as a burner and a forman. He also worked for B. P. Vandenberg for 20 years as a labor worker and a Supervisor.
Wayman was a member of the Highway Cruisers Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed riding his motorcycles and on a good sunny day, he would join up with his biking partners and spend the day joyriding.
He enjoyed fishing, playing his jazz sounds and walking his dog, Bella. He was known to be a good debater when he felt the need. Most of all, he was simply known as a good and caring neighbor and friend who wholeheartedly watched out for his community.
Wayman leaves cherished memories to his companion, Artesia April Morris of Coatesville; sons, Wayman Anthony Deveaux, Sr, (Tiffany) of Parkesburg, PA, Eugene Thomas Fiorentino II (Kathleen) of Kennett Square, PA, Nicolas "Toothpick" Fiorentino of Dover, DE, Wayne Anthony Fiorentino of Dover, DE, and Michael John Davis of Coatesville; daughters, Audra Monique Robinson of Lancaster, Jennifer Green (Bakari) of Coatesville, Jackie Davis (Haeshah) of MD, and Fantasia Zaidivar of Reading, PA; siblings, Jeanie May Fortune (Jerome), and Robert Allen Fiorentino, both of Coatesville, George Odell Johnson (Tameeka), and Dennis Shockley, both of Lancaster, PA; 43 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and many other relatives including, nephews, nieces, cousins, and good friends.
In addition to his parents, Wayman was preceded in death by a niece, Monica Lynette (Fiorentino) McGibboney, and sister-in-law, Veronica "Kitty" L. Fiorentino.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at the Tabernacle Baptist Church, 819 Coates Street, Coatesville, PA. Viewing begins at 9:00 AM until the time of the service. Friends are invited to visit with the family beginning at 10:15 AM until the service time.
Interment will be held privately.
