Obituary

Walton A. "Walt" Brown, 53, of Parkesburg, PA., passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020, at his residence.

Walton was born in Norristown, PA on August 1, 1967, a son of Rebecca Brown.

He was raised in Norristown where he attended school within the Norristown Area School District. After graduating High School Walt joined the United States Army where he proudly served his country for 5 years, including a tour during Desert Storm. He was a decorated grunt for the 10th Mountain Division.  He was honorably discharged in 1991.

Walt met and married Stacey A. Sumner; he was the father of seven children. He graduated from Lincoln University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Services in 2018 and went on to obtain a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology in 2020.

He spent the last eight years working along with fellow Veterans at the Coatesville VA Medical Center. He was quiet and well-liked by his co-workers.  He always spoke well regarding his family.

In addition to his wife Stacey, Walt is survived by his mother Rebecca Brown; his children; Mikito, Mathew, Stephaney, Shah, Sophia, Samir and Jayla; two grandchildren; one sister Lillian and one brother Carlton; and host of other family members and friends.

For all moments to come we will love and miss you with all of our hearts.

At the request of the family, and due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions the funeral service will be held strictly private for the immediate family only.

Family and friends are invited to view VIRTUALY and attend the service VIRTUALY through Zoom on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at 2:30 PM.

Interment  with full military honors will be held at a later date in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.

Flowers can be sent to the funeral home.
