Obituary

Victoria Porter Bookman, 84, of Coatesville, passed away June 8, 2012 at the Jefferson Hospital in Phila.

Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Earl Taylor and Mary Porter and the widow of the late James Bookman.
She had been employed at Devereux Foundation for 15 years.

She was a member of Hutchinson UAME church for many years.

Vicky enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family.

She is survived by four daughters Darlene Bookman Thompson, Stephanie Cannon, Iris (Reginald) Holmes all of Coatesville, Beverly (Renee) Parker of Parkesburg; sons James (Denise) Bookman, Bryant Bookman and Albert Bookman all of Coatesville, sisters Corabell Johnson, Yvonne McGaw Taylor and Andrea Middleton all of Coatesville, Darlene Colon of Lancaster and Martha Taylor of Pomeroy; brothers, Abram(Olivia) Taylor, Gerald Taylor, Robert Taylor,  Earl Taylor Jr. of Parkesburg; 21 grandchildren;  30 great grands; 1 great-great granddaughter and  other relatives and friends.

Services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, June 16, 2012, at the Hutchinson UAME Church, 825 E Chestnut St, Coatesville with a viewing beginning at 8 a.m.

Interment will be in the Rolling Green Memorial Park, West Chester.
