Thomas Joseph Flowers, of Coatesville, PA, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023, at his residence. He was 76 years old. Tommy, as he was affectionately known, was born in West Chester, PA, the son of the late William Penrose Flowers Sr., and Madeline Marie (Mullen) Flowers. He worked at the former Lukens Steel Company in Coatesville until he was disabled. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews and listening to country western music. He loved his coffee, enjoyed discussing politics and enjoyed watching MSNBC. He had a knack for knowing everyone's birthday. Tommy leaves lasting memories to four sisters, Madeline Stokes of Fayetteville, NC, Grace Elizabeth Delaware of Coatesville, PA, Carol Ann Westmoreland of Coatesville, PA, and Dorothy Kelly of West Chester, PA; one brother, Harry Flowers, Sr. (Audrey) of Coatesville, PA; nieces and nephews, especially niece, Dina and nephew Clayton whom he helped raise, as well as Tyrone M. Holmes who was very special to Tommy. He also had a special place in his heart for Dina's children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, William P. Flowers, Jr., and Robert B. Flowers. Tommy was a cherished brother and uncle. He will be deeply missed.
