Thelma V. Heard, 80, formerly of Fayetteville, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Harrison House Senior Living in Christiana, PA.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. David A. Heard, Sr. and Monica M. Heard; sisters, Irene Cogdell of Vander, NC, Emma L. McCall and Lillie Wright both of Fayetteville, NC; two grandchildren: Gabrielle Heard and David A. Heard, Jr.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Shekinah Faith Temple International Ministries, 2060 Goins Drive, Fayetteville, NC 28306, with Apostle Gary B. McLaurin presiding and  Dr. David A. Heard, Sr. officiating. A viewing will be held on Friday, March 23rd from 5-7 pm at Herring Funeral Care & Cremations, 2720 Murchison Road, Fayetteville, NC 28301.

Burial will follow in Cross Creek Cemetery #5 in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
