Tashara Omeik Taggart, 46, of Jacksonville, FL, formerly of Coatesville, PA, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Coatesville, PA on March 31, 1972, she was the daughter of Robert Taggart and Egeria H. McGibboney.
Tashara was educated in the Chester County Public Schools. She attended Bishop Shannahan and graduated in 1990 from Coatesville Area Senior High School. She was a proud member of the ROTC program.
She worked as a nursing assistant, and was a private home care nurse for five years.
Tashara had a heart for helping and caring for people. She would often take in homeless people and help raise other people's children. She loved singing and listening to all kinds of music. She also enjoyed karaoke. Tashara was a member of the "Applebee's Club" and enjoyed singing karaoke there on Friday evenings.
Tashara leaves treasured memories to her daughters, Briana Culclasure (Elizabeth Ragland) of Coatesville, PA, Britt Culclasure, and Bria McDonald-McKnight both of Jacksonville, FL; father, Robert Taggart of Coatesville, PA; mother, Egeria McGibboney of Coatesville, PA; step-mother, Loretha Taggart of Coatesville; brothers, Robert Taggart and MarQuinn Parker both of Coatesville, PA; sisters, Larnette McGibboney of Newark, NJ, Lavita Washington Francis of Malvern, PA; four grandchildren: Zion, Zoie, Nevaeh, and Amara.
She also leaves Robert Alston, Danny Bunch, Tina Alston, grandmother, Virginia Taggart, a special nephew, "TK" Taggart of Coatesville; special friends Ashley Adams, and Bill Gay of Florida and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Tashara was preceded in death by step-brother Eric Alston and step-father Larry McGibboney.
Memorial Services will be held at 4 PM, Saturday, Aug 11, 2018, at Holy Tabernacle COGIC, 533 Coates Street, Coatesville, PA. A family visitation will be held from 3 PM – 4 PM.
Condolences can be shared on the guestbook. Flowers may be sent to the church on the day of the service. The theme colors are orange and white.
