Suzzette B. Twyman, 65, of Coatesville, suddenly passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at her home.
Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Twyman Sr. and Iona McGibboney.
She was educated in the Coatesville Area School District. Sue was a beloved nurse's aide at the VA hospital.
She loved watching Western Movies and Star Trek. Her green thumb was legendary and she showcased that throughout her life. Most of all, She was known for her incredible cooking skills. Her family will always cherish her famous shrimp pasta salad, delicious fried chicken, and mouth-watering apple crisp. Sue will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Jacaffa O. Robinson (wife of Joshua Robinson), son, Jean-Luc A. Twyman (Tori Eggleston), step-daughter, Alicia Ruff (wife of Marcellus Ruff), step-sons, Joe "Moose" Lewis Jr. and Victor E. Lewis; sisters Freddia "LadyBug" Twyman, Bertha Hardy Alston (Sam), Gloria Twyman, Carol Ann Corporal Jacks, and; brother Ernest Twyman Jr, of Dover Delaware; close friends who were like sisters, Barbara Taylor and Mary Norris; 7 grandchildren, a granddog "Remi", and a host of godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph M. Lewis, brothers, Larry McGibboney (husband of Egeria McGibboney), Tillman Twyman; sisters, Dorothy Twyman, Irene Twyman Peoples, and Patricia Twyman.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at New Hope Glad Tidings Church of God, 80 Foundry Street, Coatesville, PA 19320.
Interment will be held privately.
