Stanley MacNeely, 80, of Coatesville, PA, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2020 at his residence in Sadsbury Township.

Stanley attended a day program with Merakey formerly known as NHS until his retirement. He enjoyed taking walks in the park and going out to eat. Stanley also loved listening to music while relaxing in his favorite recliner. His friendliness was evident by the smile on his face.

When Stanley was happy he would start laughing out loud, he enjoyed spaghetti and had a sweet tooth for chocolate.  He always knew when it was time to eat. Once you'd tap him on his forehead and he would open his mouth and say "UGHHH".

Stanley could not say much but he was aware of everything that was going on around him. He would simply share one-word phrases like: LOVE, and a great big smile.  Stanley enjoyed muffins, cakes, and Twinkies.

He enjoyed hugs and sitting close to the staff. Stanley was like family at Merakey and he will be missed dearly.

A Walk-Thru viewing will be held 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, on Friday, October 2, 2020, at Wright Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 725 Merchant Street, Coatesville, PA, Coatesville, PA.  This livestream zoom link has been provided for those who would like to view the service but are unable to be present.

Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Coatesville, PA.
