Sister Marian Myers, 80, of Coatesville, PA, passed away suddenly on December 22, 2023, at her residence.  She was 80 years old.

Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Brother William Myers, Sr., and Sister Jennie Brown Myers.

She received her early education from the Coatesville Area School District. She attended the historic James Adams School in Coatesville and graduated from S. Horace Scott High School in 1961. After high school, she moved to Washington DC.

Marian was affectionately known as Boo Boo by her family. She enjoyed creating arts and crafts projects such as hats, pillows, and candles. She loved to take care of people who were in need. Though she did not have children of her own she helped raise many of her family members.

Most of all she loved the Lord. She was a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of the apostolic faith in Philadelphia under the leadership of Bishop Shelton Rapha Chabash Luke. She loved the Bishop and the church family. Over the years she served as a missionary and sang on the choir until her health declined. She loved the songs of the church and the Saints of God.

Marian will deeply be missed by her family including her sisters, Barbaria "Bobbi" Myers of Downingtown, and Charlotte Myers of Coatesville; one brother, Babatu Rudo "Fred Myers" of Ghana, Africa; nephews, Marcus Myers, William Hyden, Henry Bowman, George Harris, Eric Myers, Rashad Myers; nieces, Sonya I. Myers, Cassandra Hyden, Eileen Hyden, Christine Dempsey,  Serenity H. Derosier, Patricia London, and Renada B. Myers; a host of other, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, as well as her pet Pomeranian dog "Finny".

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Zelder Myers Hyden, brother, William Myers, Jr., and James E. Myers.

A graveside service will take place at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at New Evergreen Cemetery, 204 Cemetery Lane, Coatesville, PA 19320.
