Sharon Lee Purcell, of Collingdale, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 15, 2025, at home. She was 78 years old.

Born in Philadelphia, she was raised in Coatesville, PA, the daughter of the late Elliott Bradley and Sara Lucille (Purcell) Morris.

Sharon was educated in the public school system. She was a graduate of Scott Senior High School in 1965. She attended the Community College of Philadelphia.

Sharon enjoyed cooking, sewing, drawing, painting, and all kinds of arts and crafts.

She will be deeply missed by her devoted son, Jamal Purcell; sister, Shirley Purcell; brother, Leonard Morris, Sr.; daughter-in-law, Erin Woolford; nieces, Asmaa Abdul-Haqq, Mia Purcell; nephews, Ajobe Abdul-Haqq, Melvin Purcell, Jr., Steven Morris, Darren Morris and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her brothers, Melvin Purcell, Sr., Brian Keith Morris, and her nephew, Leonard Morris, Jr.
