Sarah B. Mackenzie, 57, of Oxford, PA, Chester County, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, April 4, 2021.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on September 7, 1963, she was the daughter of the late Morris Phinney, Jr. and the late Judith Piper Phinney.

Sarah graduated from Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, where she studied at the Veterinarian School for Horses. From a young age, Sarah loved all animals, especially horses. She showed at the Devon Horse Show and always brought home ribbons.

Sarah's family meant everything to her. She was a loving and devoted mother, wife, sister, and daughter. Sarah was a very generous person, often putting others before herself. She always had a smile and made the best of a difficult situation.

Sarah is survived by her husband Neil Mackenzie; daughter, Heather Barth (Edwin); son, Joseph Mackenzie; grandchildren, Hayden, Hunter, and Mason Barth; brothers, Joe Phinney, John Phinney (Kara), and Harry Phinney (Kate); and sister, Jennifer Finzer (Timothy).

A private service will be held for family and friends at a later date.
