Roosevelt "Rose" Horne, 58, of Coatesville, passed away December 20 at the Brandywine Hospital.

Born in Snowhill, N.C., He was the son of the late Mary Mae Bradley and John Thomas Horne, Sr.

Roosevelt received his education in the Coatesville Area School District and was a 1973 graduate.

He had been employed as a Nurses Aide at the former Main Line Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Paoli.

He was a member of New Life In Christ Fellowship in Coatesville.

Roosevelt spent his life helping and mentoring people.

He is survived by; Mary Ann (Julian) Ray of Coatesville, Wanda Beverly, Diane Flemings, Louise Flemings, Tasha Horne all of Philadelphia, Vanessa Parks of Lancaster; brothers, Clifford (Lydia) Horne of Coatesville, Bobby Flemings, Tyrone Horne both of Philadelphia.  He is also survived by his mother's husband, James "Buster" Bradley, two close nephews, Alfie (Monisse) Horne and Corey (Stacie) Fields and a host of other nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
