Ronald Albert Stewart, 69, of Richmond, Va., formerly of Parkesburg, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2010 at the MCV Hospital in Richmond, Va. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late William Joseph Stewart and Dorothy J. Stewart Crawford. He was the husband of the Gloria J. Stewart with whom he shared 48 years of marriage

Ronald was a 1960 graduate of Coatesville High School. Following high school, he joined the US Marine Corps, retiring as a captain in 1984, after 25 years of military service.

He enjoyed listening to country music, watching westerns, singing and most of all traveling with his wife.

He is survived by two sons, Ronald (Monika) Stewart of St. Petersburg, FL, Marcus W. Stewart of Richmond, Va.; one brother William (Barbara) Stewart of Philadelphia; one aunt, Gladys Flamer of Coatesville and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one daughter Angela Stewart.

A Memorial Services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, September 17, 2010, at  Hutchinson Memorial UAME Church, 825 Chestnut St, Coatesville.
