Obituary

Romaine was born on November 29, 1944 in Coatesville to the late Augustus Moore and Pearl E. Wilson Moore.

She received her early education from the Historic James Adams School and was a 1962 graduate of S. Horace Scott High School.

Romaine worked at the dietary department at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Coatesville for 25 years retiring in 2002.  She also worked for Kraft Bus Company as a school bus driver. Romaine was married for 21 years to the late Robert Jenkins until his passing in 2005.

A lifelong member of the First Apostle Fire Baptized Holiness Church in Coatesville.

On June 14, 2016 after a lengthy illness Romaine went home to be with the Lord.  In addition to her husband, she was predeceased in death by two brothers, Augustus and Lester Moore; three sisters, Pearl Hendry, Mildred Lewis and Juanita Miller.

Romaine leaves fond memories to three sons, Jeffrey Moore of Christiana, Kevin Moore of Coatesville and Gary Moore of Columbia, South Carolina. She also leaves one sister, Marjorie Elliott; 14 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as her Carver Court Family and beloved friends.

Services will be held 11 am Monday, June 20 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 819 Coates St, Coatesville, Pa.

Viewing will begin at 9 am

Interment will be in New Evergreen Cemetery in Coatesville.
