Robert Jefferson, 91, of Malvern, formerly of Philadelphia, PA., passed away, Sunday, July 15, 2018, at Green Meadows Nursing Home in Malvern.

Born in New York, he was the son of the late Andrew and Anna Bryant Jefferson.

A US Army veteran, he served until he was honorably discharged.

Robert was an accomplished Jazz pianist who enjoyed the musical works of Sarah Vaughn and Ella Fitzgerald.

A sports enthusiast, he enjoyed watching and sharing his knowledge about the games and the players involved in various teams.

Robert is survived by his wife, Frances Jefferson; daughters, Diane Jefferson Harper (John) of Jenkinsville, SC, Rhona Jefferson-Ingram and Lydia Ann Jefferson both of Spartanburg, SC, Kathleen Jefferson Geiger of Washington, DC.

He also leaves a nephew, Andrew Jefferson, Jr. of Philadelphia, Devon A. Love; nieces, Tiffany K. Stewart of Jacksonville, FL, Carol L. Murphy of Atlanta, GA; 30 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Robert was preceded in death by one daughter, Karen Bedenbaugh; grandson, Edward L. Bedenbaugh III.

Interment with full military honors will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA.
