Richard G. Beaumont, 66, of Coatesville, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at the Coatesville VA Medical Center in Caln.

Born in Bethesda, Maryland, he was the son of the late Robert Henry Ford, Sr. and Mary Lou (nee, Bittner) Bruggerman. He was affectionately known as Ricky by his family and friends.

He served two years in the United States Army during the Vietnam conflict until he was honorably discharged in 1970.  A decorated veteran, he was awarded the Purple Heart and a Bronze Star for his valiant service and sacrifice.

Ricky enjoyed watching movies and going to the casinos in Atlantic City.   He was fondly known to his nieces and nephews as "The Candy Man".

Ricky is survived by two brothers, Robert H. Beaumont, Russell W. Beaumont (Carla), nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by one brother, Randy Ford.
