Priscilla Mae Johnson, 91, of Coatesville, PA, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021, at home.

Born in Malden, Massachusetts on February 14, 1930, Priscilla was the daughter of the late Charles Arthur Jackson and Helen E. Moody Jackson.

Priscilla was the wife of Walter P. Johnson who she married in 1948. Together they shared 73 years of marriage.

She was a 1947 graduate of Roxbury Memorial High School and went on to study at Full Gospel Assembly under Rev. Dr. Annamae Strauser.

Priscilla was a member of the First Baptist Church of Passtown where she sang on the Senior Choir, taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She was a former board member for Habitat for Humanity in Coatesville.

Priscilla was an all-around good cook. She was the Cafeteria Manager at Rainbow Elementary School for 32 years retiring in 1992. She loved going on cruises and enjoyed traveling to Wildwood New Jersey and Boston Massachusetts.

In addition to her husband Walter, she is survived by her son, Rev. Walter H. Johnson (wife Sylvia) of Jacksonville, FL; her daughter, Patricia A. High of Coatesville; one sister, Theora L. Jones; three grandchildren: Inga M. Norman of Coatesville, PA, Rev. Timothy A. Johnson, Sr. (wife Kimberle) of Rolesville, NC, and Andrea N. Johnson of Atlanta, GA.; five great-grandchildren: Al'leyah B. Bookard, Faithe N. Johnson, Gabrielle Bookard, Timothy A. Johnson, Jr., Naomi S. Johnson; special friends, Carrie Washington, Doreen Taylor and Elder Rachel McDougald, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Priscilla was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles A. Jackson, Jr. and Melvin R. Jackson; sister, Madeline Juanita Johnson; granddaughter, Erika Charmaine Norman, and special friends, Catherine Brickus and Mary Young. Homegoing Services will be held at 11:00 AM, on Friday, August 6, 2021, at the First Baptist Church of Passtown, 117 Barber Avenue, Coatesville, PA.  A viewing will be held beginning at 9:00 A.M. until the service time.
