Pauline Frances Perry-Dennis peacefully departed this life September 19, 2014 at Pocopson Home in West Chester.   Raised on Blue Stone Farm in Berwyn, Pennsylvania. Pauline was the daughter of the late Harriet Perry-McKim.

She was the wife of the late James Donald Dennis with whom she shared 59 years of marriage.

Pauline enjoyed cooking, knitting, crocheting and listening to old time gospel music.

Pauline was a life-time and devoted member of Mount Zion AME Church, Devon where she served on the Trustee Board, Stewardess Board and Usher Boards, and sang on the Spiritulettes choir of the church. Pauline was a faithful member of the Interdenominational Church UshersAssociation (ICUA) of Chester County.  She was also a member Florence Mills Temple #518 for 32 years.

Pauline was employed in Domestic Services in her early years.  She was later employed by Unisys, Shared Medical Systems, General Electric and retired from the Tredyffrin Township School District, all in the Culinary Department.

She is survived by eight children, Frances Elizabeth Dennis-Pagan Afanador of Norristown, Violet Ann Dennis-Baynard (Bryan) of Berwyn,  James Isaac Dennis of Paoli, Larry Winslow Dennis of West Chester, Cynthia Fern Dennis-Alston of Exton,  Kevin Charles Dennis of Coatesville,  Dana Williams Dennis of Philadelphia, and Dinah Martha Dennis-Peeler of Darby; 20 grandchildren, of whom she reared: Darrell V. Alston of Phoenixville and Dante' B. Alston of Exton; 25 great grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren,  and a close cousin Alice Roberts of Delaware.
