Celebrating the life of Patricia Evelyn Wright (AKA) proud mother, October 25, 1940 - January 6, 2023.

Patricia Evelyn Wright, surrounded by her family, passed away Friday, January 6, 2023, at her home in Berwyn, PA.

Born in Coatsville, PA. she was the eldest daughter of the late Hamilton E. Wright and Evelyn Mary (Young) Wright.

Patricia, for many years, was a successful high school secretary for the Downingtown Industrial School in Downingtown, PA. She later accepted a position to be an attendance coordinator for the Conestoga High School where she began to immerse herself in a community that would be a lifelong legacy not knowing that eventually, she would soon become a friend, a nurse, a therapist, a protector, a surrogate mother, a cheer mom and a safe place for students to go. Patricia was an educator of life.

Patricia had a friendly personality and a smile that would light up a room. She was a big San Francisco 49ers fan and enjoyed horses, talking on the phone with friends and family, as well as spending time with her grandchildren, and taking trips to the mall.

She was kind and very outspoken. She always had time to answer questions or solve a problem no matter how big or small. She will be dearly missed by her friends and loved ones.

Patricia was blessed with and is survived by her four children, Allyson M. Bennett (Gary Bennett) of Elkins Park, PA, Craig Paul Berry (Diana Berry) of Reading, PA, Chris P. Berry (Yvonne Coldren) of Chester Springs, PA, and Paula A. Leo (Edward Leo) of Cape May, Nj; eight grandchildren, Autumn Berry, Ariele Leo, Torin Verdone, Christopher Berry, Maura Leo, Kendall Bennett, and Brandon Leo; one great-grandchild, Sailor Rose Berry; one uncle, Harry Wright; two nephews, Joaquin Irons and Eric Reson;  and many other relatives, cousins, and friends.

Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Evelyn M. (Young) Wright; father Hamilton E. Wright; two siblings Phyllis Wright, and Skipper Wright; nephew, Steven Irons; the father of her four children, Charles Paul Berry; and her husband, Gerald Crutchfield.

A Memorial Service Celebration will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Conestoga High School Auditorium, 200 Irish Rd, Berwyn, PA 19312. Friends and family will be received from 12 noon until 12:30 PM and the service will begin at 12:30 PM.
