Patricia Jean (Lawrence) Edwards, 66, of Coatesville passed away, Wednesday, March 13, 2012 at the Neighborhood Hospice Facility in West Chester.

She was the daughter of the late Henry A. and Pearl Boyce Lawrence.

Born in Coatesville she attended James Adams School and graduated from S. Horace Scott Senior High School in 1963.

She had been employed at the Coatesville VA Hospital, the Autumn Lane Nursing Home in Coraopolis, Pa. and the VA Hospital in Cleveland Ohio.

Patty enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with family.

She is survived by sons, David (Nakiah) Lawrence of Ambridge, PA, Michael Edwards of Tokyo, Japan; daughter Tracy L. Edwards of Duquesne, PA; sisters, Mary A. Bigsby of Cleveland, Ohio, Helen Lawrence of Coatesville, Drucilla (Joseph) Robinson of Wilmington, Dela.; brother Bernard O. Lawrence (Chrissandra) of Lancaster, 10 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty J. Hall, Pearl "Pinky" Lawrence and one brother Donald Arthur "Donnie" Lawrence.

Services will be held Monday, Mar. 19, at 11 a.m. at the Bell Chapel Church, 132  Modena Rd, Coatesville with a viewing beginning at 9 am.

Interment will be in the Church of Christ Cemetery, Ercildoun.
