Patricia Styer Jacks, 82, of West Chester, PA, passed away Friday, November 19, 2021, at the Pocopson Home in West Chester, PA.

Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Clarence E. Styer and Viola White Styer.  Patty was the wife of Richard Jacks with whom she shared over 60 years of marriage.

She received her early education from the Coatesville area public school system. She attended the Historical James Adams School and graduated from S. Horace Scott Senior High School in 1957.

Patty married Richard Jacks on December 19, 1957. She raised a family while working as a secretary at Boroughs. She later owned her own flower shop called "Pat's Plant Place" in Downingtown, PA.

Patty was known to have a vibrant and feisty personality. She loved spending time at casinos, flower gardening, and listening to music. She loved watching the movie Body Heat, and enjoyed listening to songs by Nancy Wilson, Santana, and Euphoria by Gato Barbieri. Most of all she loved her family.

Patty was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Brown; and one brother, Carl White.

She will be deeply missed by her husband, Richard Jacks of West Chester; children: Rickie Brian Jacks of West Bradford, PA, Dennis Jacks, Anthony Jacks, Sr., Stephanie Jacks, and Jay Ronald Jacks, all of Coatesville, PA; siblings: Lydia Kyle (Allen) of New Castle, DE, Charlotte Cuff (William) and Sandra Carter (Rev. Tyrone) of Coatesville, Gloria Stewart (Ronald) of Richmond, VA; 14 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Services Celebrating her Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 3, 2021, at the First Baptist Church of Passtown, 117 Barber Avenue, Coatesville, PA. A viewing will be held beginning at 9:00 AM until the service time.

Interment will be held in Mount Zion Hill Church Cemetery in Atglen, PA.
