Patricia Ann Butterfield Purifoy, 67, of Coatesville, PA, passed away on February 20, 2023, at Suburban Community Hospital.

Born in Bamberg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Carrether and Lee  Butterfield. She was the widow of the late John Purifoy.

Pat was a graduate of Coatesville Area High School, class of 1974.

She is survived by a son, Eddie Carr; four sisters, Barbara Butterfield, Leola Butterfield both of Coatesville, Mary (Ernest, Sr.) Tolbert of Newark, DE., and Lisa (Ian, Sr.) Austin of Abington; three brothers, Roosevelt Butterfield of Downingtown, Rev. Shannon Butterfield, Richard Butterfield both of Coatesville; granddaughter, Emage Rhone; great-grandson, Kyhil Rhone Butler; aunts, Mary Hemsley of Parkesburg and Dora Butterfield of Coatesville and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to her parents, and her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Shawana L. Butterfield-Rokins; and three brothers, David,  Joseph, and Darnell Butterfield.

Memorial Services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Wright Funeral & Cremation Services, 725 Merchant Street, Coatesville PA. Please note: There will not be a viewing, however, friends may greet the family from 10:30 until the service begins.

The interment will be held privately.
