Natia Yolanda Thomas was born in West Chester, August 14, 1985. She was the daughter of Nathan Scott and Theresa A. Thomas.
Natia lived in West Chester all of her life. A 2004 graduate of the West Chester Area School District, Natia attended both Stetson Middle school and Henderson High School. Natia had been a member of an organization called CARE in West Chester. She received her certification in Venipuncture from the Chester County Adult Training and Education Alliance. She was employed as a Medical Technician at High Gate Nursing Home in Paoli, Pa.
She loved music, dancing and watching movies. She swore she could sing, especially when it came to " Somewhere over the Rainbow."€Natia loved baked macaroni and cheese and seafood. " Red Lobster" was a place to sat isfy her palate.
Natia had a nickname for everyone, but her nicknames were " Tia", "TT" and "Bam Bam."€She was notorious for her laugh and you could hear her coming by the sound of that laugh. Tia was a strong woman and she had formed a club called " TT Loves the Kids." € Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Tia passed away suddenly February 17, 2015 at her brother' s home. She was preceded in death by one brother Nathan Scott, Jr.
In addition to her one year old son, Sy' eed Briheem Thomas, Natia leaves to cherish fond memories to her mother Theresa A. Thomas; father, Nathan Scott; three siblings, Gina Thomas, Theresa E. Thomas and Markus Alan Thomas and his wife Kate; maternal grandfather, Alan Thomas; brother-in-law, Brian Adger; nieces, Nikema, Alijah, Lailah; nephews, Briheem, Lateef, Tyrese, Noah, Nathaniel; great nephews, Jaiyre, and Jaâ €™khi; her best friends, Shannea McKee, Faith Bell, Mel Murray and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Tia's presence and laughter will be greatly missed. Though she is gone she will not be forgotten.
The family requests donations be sent to the funeral home to help cover funeral costs.
Arrangements are being handled by Wright Funeral & Cremation Services Coatesville.
