Marvin Elwood Tucker Parker, 82, of Coatesville, PA was called home by our heavenly father on Monday, May 30, 2022, at the Chester County Hospital in West Chester, PA.

Born in Coatesville, he was the son of Josephine and James Tucker. Marvin faithfully served in the United States Army until he was honorably discharged.

Marvin was very outgoing. He was a part of a singing group called the Stylistics. He loved to tell stories about his life. Marvin always found time to help anyone who was in need.  Marvin loved to play chess with his nephew and with his friends.

Marvin leaves behind his companion, Patricia Thompson; two daughters, Debra Parker of Lancaster, and Kimberly Tucker of New York; 10 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Marvin was preceded in death by a son, Marvin E. Tucker, Jr.;  his brothers, Connie Tucker, and Hedrick Daniel Cheung.

Though Marvin is gone, he will be truly missed by all of his family. Our hearts are broken but now he may rest pain-free.  We love you beloved father.
