Marva Louise "Bunny" Robinson, 78, of Thorndale, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at the Neighborhood Hospice in West Chester.

Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late George M. Wesley and Beatrice Hughes.

She had been employed as a licensed practical nurse with the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Coatesville until she retired in 1998.

Marva is survived by her daughters, E'Lena Denise "Nicey" Robinson of West Chester, Kimberly Deborah Robinson of Thorndale; son, James Davis Robinson IV of Miami, Florida; the father of her children, James Davis Robinson III, and brother-in-law, Rev. James Norman Allen. She also leaves three granddaughters: Jeanette, Jamie and Shante' Robinson, two great granddaughters: Sha' and Jay' Lisia; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Marva was preceded in death by one sister, Sondra Lee "Penny" Allen.

Homegoing services will be held 11 am Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Passtown, 117 Barber Avenue, Coatesville with a viewing from 9 to 10:45 am.

Interment will be in New Evergreen Cemetery, Coatesville.

Flowers can be sent to the church on the day of the service. The theme color is yellow, peach and white.
