On Monday, June 6, 2022, Margaret Dona (Holmes) Knowles, passed away at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia. She was 64 years old.

Margaret was born in Philadelphia to the late Francis H. Holmes and Margaret Holmes. She was educated in the Philadelphia school district, and was a 1975 graduate of Overbrook High School. She was the beloved wife Richard E. Knowles, whom she met while attending Overbrook high. She was the mother of Robert Knowles, Shawn Knowles, and Michael Knowles, all of Coatesville.

A lover of animals, Margaret enjoyed horse back riding, especially her horse named Buckley. Her husband, family, and friends will always remember eating her scrumptious meat pie, and best ever, potato salad.
