Lula Mae Thomas of Parkesburg, formerly of Coatesville passed away on October 16, 2016 at the Pocopson Home in West Chester. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Harry Lee Smith and Eva. I (Butler) Smith.  She was the wife of the late John W. Thomas, Sr.
Lula Mae attended schools within the Coatesville Area School District and was a graduate of S. Horace Scott Senior High School. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located in Parkesburg, Pa.
She enjoyed bowling and was an avid reader, she especially enjoyed reading the Bible.
Lula Mae was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Thomas, Sr., her son John W. Thomas, Jr. and one sister, Sheila Peterson.
She leaves cherished memories to three sons, Duane Smith, Harry L. Smith and Derek C. Thomas all of Coatesville; three daughters, Dalphyne L. Clark, and Tiffany Thomas Pearlman (Robert) both of Coatesville, Susan Thomas of California; two sisters, Thelma A. Lee and Priscilla Smith both of Coatesville; two brothers, Tyrone Smith (Inana) of Coatesville and James L. Smith of Pomeroy; 17 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, October 27, 2016 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 67 Octorara Road, Saddsburyville, Pa 19365. A viewing will be held from 10 AM until the service time.
