Lucille R. Mitchum, 89, passed away on December 13, 2015 at the Pocopson Home, West Chester, Pa. She was the wife of Fred Mitchum with whom she shared 61 years of marriage.  Born in Cross-Berkley County, SC she was the daughter of the late William and Mattie Richburg Richardson.

She is survived by her daughter Vernita Montgomery (Samuel) of Hephzibah, Georgia; two step-sisters, Henrietta Nelson and Ann Baxter both of Bronx, NY; one brother, James Theirse of Cross, SC; dear friends, Shirley and Charles Ward of Coatesville.

Funeral Services will be held 10 am, Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 819 Coates Street, Coatesville.  Relatives and friends may call at the church from 9 until time of services.

Interment will be at the Rolling Green Cemetery in West Chester Pa.
