Linda Kay Hamilton, 57 of Coatesville, Pa., passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017. She was the fourth of five children born to the late Douglas "Bilbo" and Mary Edna Hamilton.

Linda was a resident at Kelsch Associates in Chester County for many years. She spent time with her friends at the Handicrafters Adult program. She enjoyed going on trips and sharing in holiday events and activities that were provided on her behalf. She enjoyed watching cartoons, especially Sponge Bob. Most of all she liked looking at books and magazines.

Linda's presence and smile will be missed by her caregivers and staff at Kelsch Associates. Though she is gone she will not be forgotten. Her memory will live on in the many lives she touched.

She is survived by her sister, Sharon Thompson of Coatesville, PA; brothers, Carl Douglas Hamilton (Jacqueline) of Reading, Melvin P. Hamilton (Colleen) of Coatesville, PA, Donald Eugene Hamilton, Sr., (Jennie) of Downingtown, PA; her favorite aunt Evelyn Shelton of Coatesville, PA, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by one niece, Kesha S. McMullen.

A service honoring her life will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday July 26, 2017 at Bethel AME Church, 671 South First Ave, Coatesville, PA. Viewing begins at 9 AM.  Interment will be in Philadelphia Memorial Park in Frazer, PA.

Flowers can be sent to the church on the day of the service. The theme color is pink and white.
