Obituary

Missionary Lillian M. Middleton, "Lil", 78, of West Chester, passed away October 24, 2013 at the Neighborhood Hospice Center in West Chester. Born in Rutherford County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of Robert Twitty and Ella Mae Meeks Hamilton.

Ms. Middleton was a member of Mt. Carmel Church of God in Christ in West Chester for over 50 years.

She brought area church volunteers together to feed seniors at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter for more than 20 years.  She was the local coordinator for Philabundance, a hunger relief organization that helps channel food to West Chester families.

She is survived by  three daughters, Missionary Charlotte (Lewis) Rokins,  Faith (David) Turner both of Coatesville, Elder Joann Trammel of Marietta, GA; sons, William Middleton and Willard (Helen) Middleton both of Coatesville, Kenneth Middleton of Jacksonville, Fl; 20 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and many other and friends.
