Leslie K. Nelson, 56, of Coatesville passed away, Friday, April 8, 2016 at Temple University Hospital in Phila. She was the daughter of the late Ernest C. Nelson, Sr. and Arlene J. Nelson. She enjoyed cooking, had a great love for animals and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Leslie is survived by one daughter, Latasha Miles (Willie) of Coatesville; one son, Tory Jones, Jr. (Valerie Nguyen) of Caln; two sisters, Brenda Nelson of California, Sharon Morgan-Cox of Coatesville; three brothers, Ernest C. Nelson, Jr. of Coatesville, James E. Nelson (Santana) of Coatesville, Jonny Ashton of California; her companion of 20 years, Lindsey Givens of Coatesville; 3 grandchildren, Mai-Lyng Prout, Alaysia Prout, Quran Prout and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held 11 AM, Friday, April 15, at the Episcopal Church of the Trinity, 323 East Lincoln Hwy, Coatesville, with a visitation with the family at 10 AM.

Condolences to be read can be faxed by 9 pm Thursday to the funeral home at 610-383-7523. Flowers can be sent to the church on the service day. The theme color is red.
