Larry White, 60, of Oxford passed away, July 17, 2011 in Media.
Born in West Chester, he was the son of Lester G. White and Dorothy M. (Boddy) White

Larry was a graduate of Lincoln University with a degree in sociology

He had been employed at the Chester County Courthouse and the Glen Mills school as a counselor.

He was the caregiver for his Aunt Elsie Johnson for many years.

He is survived by his mother Dorothy Mae White of Kennett Square, father Lester G. White of Coatesville; his step-mother Minnie L. White of Coatesville; step-sister Caroline Johnson of Coatesville; step-brother Louis Nearo of Coatesville and a host of other relatives and friends.

Homegoing services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 26, at the Allen A.M.E. Church, Market and Eighth streets, Oxford, where family and friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m.

Interment will be in Oxford Cemetery.
